SHIPPING POLICY
Last Updated: August 2026
This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through the YESIDO South Africa website, operated by Oxfame Trading CC.
This Policy must be read together with our Terms of Service and Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable South African law.
1. DELIVERY AREAS
YESIDO South Africa delivers to eligible addresses within South Africa, subject to courier coverage and service availability.
Certain remote, restricted or outlying areas may have limited delivery services or require additional delivery time or charges.
Where an address cannot reasonably be serviced by our available delivery providers, YESIDO South Africa reserves the right to decline delivery to that address, subject to applicable law.
2. SHIPPING CHARGES
Shipping charges, where applicable, will be displayed during checkout or otherwise communicated before completion of the order.
Shipping charges may vary depending on factors including:
- Delivery location;
- Parcel size or weight;
- Order value;
- Courier service; and
- Special delivery requirements.
Any free-shipping promotion is subject to its stated conditions and may be changed or withdrawn for future orders.
3. ORDER PROCESSING & DISPATCH
3.1
Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 2–3 business days after cleared payment has been received and confirmed by YESIDO South Africa, subject to stock availability and any necessary order, payment or fraud verification.
3.2
The processing period does not begin merely when an order is placed or when a customer submits payment. It begins once payment has been successfully received and confirmed.
3.3
Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and South African public holidays.
3.4
Orders for which payment is received or confirmed outside normal business processing hours may begin processing on the next business day.
3.5
Processing or dispatch may take longer where reasonably necessary due to:
- Payment verification;
- Fraud or security checks;
- Incomplete or incorrect customer information;
- Stock verification;
- High order volumes;
- Wholesale or bulk quantities; or
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where a delay materially affects fulfilment, the order will be handled in accordance with applicable South African law.
3.6
The 2–3 business-day processing period is separate from courier delivery time. Courier delivery time applies after the order has been dispatched and handed to the relevant courier.
4. DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES
Delivery timeframes displayed on the website or communicated to customers are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise or required by applicable law.
Actual delivery times may vary depending on:
- Delivery destination;
- Courier operations;
- Remote or outlying locations;
- Weekends and public holidays;
- Weather or transportation disruptions;
- Peak trading periods;
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery information;
- Security or access restrictions; and
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
YESIDO South Africa does not guarantee delivery on a particular date or at a particular time unless such delivery has expressly been agreed or is otherwise required by law.
Any statutory rights arising from delayed or non-delivery remain unaffected.
5. DELIVERY ADDRESS & CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, telephone number and other necessary delivery information.
Customers should carefully verify their information before confirming an order.
To the extent permitted by law, YESIDO South Africa will not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional costs resulting from incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by the customer.
Once an order has been dispatched, YESIDO South Africa cannot guarantee that the delivery address can be changed.
6. RECEIVING AN ORDER
The customer is responsible for ensuring that someone is reasonably available to receive the parcel at the supplied delivery address.
Where permitted by the courier's procedures, delivery may be accepted by another person reasonably present at the delivery address.
Courier tracking information, delivery records, signatures, photographs, delivery codes or other reasonable proof-of-delivery information may be relied upon as evidence of delivery, subject to applicable law.
7. FAILED DELIVERY & REDELIVERY
Where delivery cannot be completed because:
- The customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address;
- Nobody is reasonably available to receive the parcel;
- The courier cannot reasonably obtain access to the premises;
- The customer refuses delivery without lawful justification; or
- Another circumstance attributable to the customer prevents delivery,
the customer may be required to pay reasonable additional courier, redelivery or return-to-sender costs, to the extent permitted by law.
Where a parcel is returned to YESIDO South Africa for a customer-attributable reason, redispatch may be subject to payment of the applicable additional delivery charge.
8. COURIER DELAYS
Once an order has been handed to a courier, delivery depends partly on the courier's network and operations.
YESIDO South Africa will take reasonable steps to assist with legitimate delivery enquiries but cannot guarantee a courier's precise delivery date or time unless expressly agreed.
To the extent permitted by law, YESIDO South Africa will not be responsible for delays caused solely by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in this section excludes any responsibility or remedy imposed by applicable law.
9. ORDER TRACKING
Where tracking is available, tracking information may be provided after dispatch.
Tracking information is supplied through the relevant courier's systems and may not update immediately.
A delay or temporary absence of tracking updates does not by itself mean that a parcel has been lost or has not been dispatched.
10. DAMAGED PRODUCTS ON DELIVERY
Customers should inspect the product itself as soon as reasonably possible after receiving their order.
Visible physical damage to the product believed to have occurred during transportation should be reported to YESIDO South Africa within 24 hours after the customer receives the order.
Customers should provide:
- The order or invoice number;
- Clear photographs of the damaged product;
- Photographs of the parcel and packaging where reasonably available; and
- A description of the damage.
Damage to the outer courier packaging, shipping carton or product packaging alone does not constitute product damage where the actual product is undamaged and otherwise conforms to the order.
A product discovered to have visible physical damage should not be used, installed, modified or continued to be used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it.
The 24-hour reporting period assists YESIDO South Africa in verifying delivery damage and pursuing any applicable courier claim. It does not exclude, restrict or reduce statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Delivery-damage claims and remedies are further governed by our Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
11. LOST OR MISSING PARCELS
If tracking indicates an unusual delay or a parcel appears to be missing, the customer should contact YESIDO South Africa so that the shipment can be investigated.
A parcel will not automatically be considered permanently lost merely because tracking information has been delayed or has temporarily stopped updating.
Where a parcel is confirmed as lost and YESIDO South Africa is legally responsible, the appropriate remedy will be provided in accordance with applicable law.
12. INCORRECT PRODUCTS SUPPLIED
Where YESIDO South Africa supplies a product materially different from the product ordered, the customer should notify us as soon as reasonably possible.
The matter may be reasonably verified before the applicable remedy is provided.
Where YESIDO South Africa is responsible for supplying the incorrect product, applicable collection or return costs will be handled in accordance with our Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
13. ORDER CANCELLATIONS & DISPATCHED ORDERS
Customers wishing to cancel an order should contact YESIDO South Africa as soon as possible.
Where an order has not yet been processed or dispatched, YESIDO South Africa will endeavour to stop and cancel it.
Once an order has been dispatched, we may be unable to intercept or cancel the shipment.
Any cancellation or return after dispatch is governed by our Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy and applicable South African law.
Refusing delivery does not automatically create a right to a refund or remove reasonable delivery or return costs that may lawfully apply.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory cancellation or cooling-off right where applicable.
14. WHOLESALE, RESELLER & BULK ORDERS
Wholesale, reseller, business and bulk orders may be subject to separate:
- Processing times;
- Shipping charges;
- Freight arrangements;
- Collection arrangements;
- Delivery conditions; and
- Commercial terms.
Where separate written delivery or commercial terms have been agreed for a wholesale or business transaction, those terms will apply to the extent permitted by law.
Wholesale customers are responsible for ensuring that appropriate delivery arrangements and information are provided for their orders.
15. EVENTS BEYOND REASONABLE CONTROL
Delivery or dispatch may be affected by circumstances beyond YESIDO South Africa's reasonable control, including:
- Severe weather;
- Natural disasters;
- Fire;
- Strikes or industrial action;
- Civil disturbances;
- Road closures;
- Power or infrastructure failures;
- Telecommunications disruptions;
- Courier or transportation network disruptions;
- Government restrictions; or
- Similar circumstances beyond reasonable control.
YESIDO South Africa will not be responsible for delays resulting from such circumstances to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
